Administrative Team's Welcome Message
Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to Mahwah High School! Our staff is committed to building a positive relationship with your child by engaging them in rigorous and relevant experiences in academics, athletics, and activities. Our goal is for each graduate to become a productive 21st century citizen. Further, we are excited that students can utilize our state of the art STEAM facility, Thunderbird Think Tank (T3), as well as participate in our 1:1 initiative with HP ProBook 440 G11 Touchscreen laptops. This year our school theme will be: Thunderbirds: Driven to Discover.

We designed our website to serve as a reference tool for you. In it, you will find explanations of various policies, procedures, and protocols of our school. We have also listed important telephone numbers, calendar dates, attendance, academic, and co-curricular information. While this site may not answer every one of your questions, it should serve to clarify many of them. Our web page is updated each week to provide you with current information that you will find extremely useful and informative.
We invite you to ask questions, seek assistance, and utilize the expertise of our high school staff. We are committed to working in partnership with you so that your experiences at Mahwah High School will be enjoyable and productive.
As we embark on this exciting year together, please remember that your thoughts, ideas, and feedback are more than welcome—they are essential. Whether you drop by for a quick chat, set up a conference, or reach out by email or phone, our partnership is the key to every student’s success. Let’s keep the conversation going—our door is always open, and we truly look forward to meeting you in the weeks ahead.
Sincerely,
John P. Pascale, Principal
Craig V. Jandoli, Assistant Principal (Grades 10 & 12)
Michael G. McCabe, Assistant Principal (Grades 09 & 11)
James G. O'Hara, Director School Counseling K-12
Roger L. Pelletier, Director of Athletics 6-12
