Scholastic Award

Based upon final course grades only, final average of 85.0%, with no final course grade less than 80.0% from the preceding school year.

Thunderbird Scholar Award

Based upon final course grades only, final average of 90.0%, with no final course grade less than 90.0% from the preceding school year.

Color Designations

Each year a student earns an award it will be denoted by the following color designations:

First year= Bronze

Second Year=Silver

Third Year= Gold

Fourth Year=Platinum

Grade notations including but not limited to  WF, AW, WA, WP, F, Inc, NG, and loss of credit disqualify students.

Students must be in attendance at MHS for full year (not a transfer student).
