Advanced Placement

We ebcourage all students to enroll in an AP course during their time at MHS. Students enrolled in an AP course must follow the steps below to ensure that they are prepared for the exams in May. Deadlines are ultimately set by the College Board, and failure to meet deadlines could result in additional fees and/or the inability to sit for the test.

Multi-lingual Learners

New Jersey, as a member of the WIDA Consortium, uses the ACCESS for ELLs suite of assessments as a tool to measure Multi-lingual Learners (MLs) proficiency in the English language.

Seal of Biliteracy

NJ State Seal of Biliteracy Program provides MHS 11th and 12th graders with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of both English and another language for a transcript endorsement.
