The Mahwah High School Music Program has developed a proud tradition of excellence for many years. The program is dedicated to providing multiple educational opportunities for its students in band, orchestra and choir through large and small group and lessons and concerts.  All activities, whether on the field or in the auditorium, promote social and artistic development through creative and innovative musical selections, high quality instruction, and a positive sense of community. In addition, it is our belief that "the process is just as important as the product." This places the emphasis on the development and growth of each individual student, not on specific performances.

Our courses include: Symphonic band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, String Orchestra, Concert Choir, Lessons, Music Theory, Evolution of American Music, and  AP Music Theory.

The Mahwah High School Theater Program is a place where creativity, diversity, and inclusivity take center stage. Our theater staff is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment for all students, regardless of their background, abilities, or experiences. We believe theater truly comes to life when everyone has the opportunity to shine, whether onstage or off. Since theater is one of the most collaborative art forms, our program emphasizes teamwork and mutual respect. Our students work together, learning from one another and building lasting memories through shared creative ventures. Most importantly, we aim to empower students by giving them the tools they need to succeed not just in theater, but through all walks of life.

Our courses include: Theater Arts Fundamentals, Elements of Advanced Acting, Play Production, and Advanced Play Production
