Overview-Current Events Club

Description:

The Current Events Club provides an open and welcoming environment in which students can share and discuss events that are of interest to them.  Topics raised can range from the political and international to celebrity or science.  Meetings close with the nominations for the WWYT Award (What Were You Thinking???) given to the person or persons in the news who were responsible for the most unbelievable story.  Conclusion: EVERYTHING is believable. 

Eligibility:

All students in grades 9-12
