Literary Magazine – Calliope

Club Calliope works to establish an appreciation for student art and writing at MHS. Calliope, the club’s literary magazine is published each spring. Club meetings/activities range from writing workshops, to open mic sessions, to editing and lay-out sessions for the magazine, to an annual poetry festival in April. Opportunities for club officers, magazine editors, graphic artists, open mic and festival organizers.

Eligibility: 

Students in grades 9-12. To maintain membership, students must submit work for publication in the literary magazine.

Meeting Time: 

Tuesdays during unit lunch.
